modified rice within its commercial food supplies.... This

accepted by loose regulation standards, but are not even labeled
appropriately.

at the Iranian people.”

by-product of uranium enrichment after a certain percent,"
Lawrence Davidson, professor at West Chester University, told

Business Insider - The usually all-business candidate
interrupted a press conference on the economy this afternoon to
surprise his wife Carol with a huge bouquet of flowers — and a
big hug — to celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary. It was a
surprisingly candid moment of marital bliss, particularly for a

gift, and her husband was clearly elated that he had pulled off
the trick. He was practically blushing.

time we have market research data to measure the impact on the
financial services industry. Javelin’s research estimates that
5.6 million U.S. adults with a banking relationship changed

adults (or 11% of the 5.6 million) cited Bank Transfer Day as
their reason and actually moved their accounts from a large to a
small institution.

slightly better unemployment and housing numbers that could end
up helping Obama in his reelection.

The alternative minimum tax and one man’s 74 percent tax rate
In his Saturday column in the New York Times, Pulitzer-prize
winning reporter James B. Stewart tallied up his tax rate and
found it to be a shocking 74 percent of taxable income.... After
some research, he determined that his personal situation is “a
near-perfect storm of punitive tax policies.” He lives in one of
the highest tax districts in the country (New York City), earns
his income (rather than getting it from capital gains or carried
interest, a la Romney), doesn’t have a significant mortgage
deduction and pays an unincorporated business tax on some of his
income, like book royalties.

Where's the snow? Not in Lower 48, but elsewhere
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Snow has been missing in action for much of
the U.S. the last couple months. But it's not just snow. It's
practically the season that's gone AWOL. "What winter?" asked
Mike Halpert, deputy director of the National Weather Service's
Climate Prediction Center. For the Lower 48, January was the
third-least snowy on record, according to the Global Snow Lab at

Geo-engineering' is the ultimate in pursuit of high risk
'techno-fixes' to the world's big ecological problems. Its
proponents want to use technology to attempt to 're-engineer'
the environment, for example by fertilising the ocean to produce
huge algal blooms that supposedly will absorb carbon dioxide, or
by polluting the upper atmosphere with nanoparticles in an
attempt to deflect UV radiation and stop global warming.... Read

Omega-3 foods essential to treat nerve damage after traumatic
injury
(NaturalNews) British researchers from Queen Mary at the
University of of London have published the result of a study in
the Journal of Neuroscience that explains how omega-3 fatty
acids play a significant role in preventing and protecting
nerves from injury. The research focused on peripheral nerve
cells which transmit signals between the brain and the spinal
cord to the rest of the body. Omega-3 fats from food sources
including sardines, salmon, walnuts and flax seeds provide for
decreased cell death from injury and may offer significant
protection against future damage.
Frequent bone scans for osteoporosis revealed as yet another
medical scam
(NaturalNews) A new study published in the New England Journal
of Medicine (NEJM) has revealed that bone mineral density scans,
which check for early signs of the bone disease osteoporosis,
are often conducted too frequently on many people, and in many
cases may not even be necessary.... "It's an expenditure of
time, it's exposure to radiation, and it's a cost," said Dr.
Virginia Moyer, head of the US Preventive Services Task Force, a
government panel responsible for establishing testing
guidelines, concerning bone mineral density tests. "And there's
no reason to expose yourself to any risks if there's going to be
no benefit."
Raw food dieting leads to weight loss success

foods. It was so interesting how the body masses of the rats
ranged between the two groups. The conclusion to the experiment
was that raw food consumption does result in weight loss.

(NaturalNews) Such items as "Gates using his money to save lives

"philanthropic" endeavors are muffled or marginalized. Those
endeavors deal with vaccinations, sterilization, and GMOs. These
are depopulation favorites. The Gates Foundation donated $1.5

The answer to Breast Cancer and Thyroid Disease
(NaturalNews) According to Dr. Brownstein, his clinical practice
has revealed that just about everyone suffering with Thyroid
dysfunction has severe iodine deficiency. But, it's not enough
to just eat salt or supplement with iodine. You MUST be sure to
get the right kind of iodine to produce a positive result. Have
you been tested properly? Dr. Brownstein says the commonly-used,
spot iodine (skin) test is useless! It's better to get a "spot
urinary iodine test" - which test your morning urine to see how
much iodine is present. Or, you can take a "24 hour iodine
loading test" - which give you a pretty good idea how much
iodine has been excreted and retained. Bottom line: get tested
and consult a qualified, holistic medical professional.
Thyroid medical scans use radioactive dye, now linked to
permanent thyroid damage
(NaturalNews) Cardiac computed tomography (CT) and other medical

the bloodstreams of patients in order to highlight the produced
images. But a new study published in the journal Archives of
Internal Medicine has revealed that this radioactive dye can
cause permanent thyroid damage, as well as cancer.

Online privacy at-risk with pending legislation
A controversial bill regarding retention of Internet records
passed through committee and was approved for consideration by
Congress in December. The Protecting Children from Internet
Pornographers Act of 2011 would require Internet providers to
retain archives of every subscriber’s online activity for up to
18 months, including phone records, credit-card numbers,
websites visited and bank-account data. Max Ayalla, a senior
from Kansas City, Kan., who works at Information Technology,
said he’s worried about the information’s security. “If someone
hacks into the data, it would be disastrous,” he said.

Obama planning to release Taliban leaders
Foreign Policy January 31, 2012 - Top Obama administration officials
briefed eight senior Senate leaders Tuesday on a pending deal to
transfer as many as five Taliban prisoners from the U.S. detention
facility at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, to Qatar.... The identities of the
administration briefers were not shared, but we were told it was a
high-level interagency briefing team. All of the senators refused to
discuss the contents of the briefing as they exited the secure briefing
room in the Senate Visitors' Center. But Levin and McCain both discussed
the issue in question before entering the briefing, namely the
administration's negotiations with the Taliban over transferring the
Taliban prisoners into Qatari custody.
Rothschild Bank AND Goldman Sachs Are Both On The LIST Of Bondholders
Getting U.S. Taxpayer Billions In Ireland
Daily Bail - Guess what, Ireland. Brian Lenihan and Brian Cowen just
sold you down the IMF river. Why? To bail out bank bondholders and giant
European banks. Of course! That's what governments are for these days,
apparently. And they'll tell you that the bailout policy is all for you
own good. And for little old ladies and pensioners and orphans. Just
don't tell that to the cancer patients. Yep, another nation made IMF
debt slaves on behalf of the international banking cartels. And Goldman
Sachs and Rothschild & Compagnie are on the list.
Taliban "poised to retake Afghanistan" after NATO pullout
Reuters - The U.S. military said in a secret report that the Taliban,
backed by Pakistan, are set to retake control of Afghanistan after
NATO-led forces withdraw, raising the prospect of a major failure of
Western policy after a costly war. Lieutenant Colonel Jimmie Cummings, a
spokesman for the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force,
confirmed the existence of the document... But he said it was not a
strategic study. "The classified document in question is a compilation
of Taliban detainee opinions," he said. "It's not an analysis, nor is it
meant to be considered an analysis." Nevertheless, it could be
interpreted as a damning assessment of the war, dragging into its 11th
year and aimed at blocking a Taliban return to power.
UN nuke official: New trip to Iran planned
VIENNA (AP) — A senior U.N. nuclear expert on Wednesday announced plans
to revisit Tehran soon after a "good trip," indicating progress on his
team's quest to probe suspicions that the Islamic Republic is secretly
working on an atomic arms program.
Think Tank Calls On US To Deploy Another Warship To Threaten Iran
Paul Joseph Watson - An influential bipartisan think tank has called on
Washington to deploy yet another carrier battle group in a bid to
threaten Iran, despite the presence of two U.S. warships already in the
region.... The organization behind the call, the Bipartisan Policy
Center (BPC), is a think tank that counts amongst its directors Norman
R. Augustine, former CEO of Lockheed Martin Corporation, as well as Jane
Garvey, an executive director at JPMorgan. The group is headed up by
former Senators including Howard Baker, Tom Daschle, Bob Dole, and
George J. Mitchell.
US Nuclear Sub Heads Towards Persian Gulf
Paul Joseph Watson - Following the announcement that a third US aircraft
carrier, the USS Enterprise, would be heading to patrol waters near the
Strait of Hormuz in March, it has also been revealed that the nuclear
submarine USS Annapolis and the destroyer USS Momsen are also likely to
heading towards the Persian Gulf in the build up to a possible attack on
Iran.
Petrodollar is pumping US policy on Iran – backfire looms
RT - As tensions between the US and Iran heat up, author Michael T.
Winter believes the main reason behind America’s harsh stance is
Tehran’s move to seek an alternative to the dollar as an oil currency.
Economic sanctions, spearheaded by the US and, less willingly, the EU
could have a disastrous effect on both of their respective economies. If
Iran cannot sell their oil to Europe, there are plenty of customers
waiting in the wings, and if they come bearing not petrodollars, but
gold and sovereign currencies, then all the better for Iran.
Disgraceful Reporting by the Boston Herald and Others on Iran
LRC Blog - The best way to get news is to read actual testimony,
reports, transcripts, and speeches. The worst way is to read headlines,
unless you like to be subjected to distortions and misunderstandings....
Case in point: the testimony of Director of National Intelligence James
R. Clapper today. See here for his actual testimony in written form.
Most important is that he said clearly that Iran is not building nuclear
weapons and CIA chief David Petraeus said the same thing, and the latter
said he had met with the head of Mossad to convey his view. This portion
of his testimony was not reported in the Boston Herald article. Instead,
it pieced together two unconnected parts of his testimony and left the
impression that Iran was making enriched uranium in order to conduct an
attack on the U.S.!! See here.
Japan snowstorm kills 52, crushes steel bridge
Heavy snowfall has crippled much of Japan's western coast, killing more
than 50 people and injuring nearly 600. The worst snowstorm in six years
has dumped more than 10 feet of snow in the hardest-hit regions, causing
at least one bridge to collapse and forcing school closures across the
region.... Western Japan has been battered by one snowstorm after
another since the beginning of the year, overwhelming cash-strapped
cities struggling to keep up with cleanup efforts.

AP Exclusive: US No-Fly list doubles in 1 year
WASHINGTON (AP) - Even as the Obama administration says it's
close to defeating al-Qaida, the size of the government's secret
list of suspected terrorists who are banned from flying to or
within the United States has more than doubled in the past year,
The Associated Press has learned. The no-fly list jumped from
about 10,000 known or suspected terrorists one year ago to about
21,000, according to government figures provided to the AP. Most
people on the list are from other countries; about 500 are
Americans.
VIDEO: Sen. Rand Paul Proposes Amendment 1490 to the STOCK Act
which would force former elected officials to forfeit their
benefits if they choose to become lobbyists
January 31, 2012 - Sen. Rand Paul today took to the Senate floor
to introduce an amendment to the Stop Trading on Congressional
Knowledge (STOCK) Act. The amendment would bring an end to the
revolving door between federal employees and companies lobbying
for federal funding or loans. This corrupt relationship has led
to billions in wasted taxpayer dollars—money awarded on highly
debatable grounds to companies who were better politically
connected than they were capable of actually repaying a
government loan. Below is transcript of his speech and
background information regarding the amendment.
ACLU Sues U.S. for Information on Targeted Killing Program
ACLU Feb 1st, 2012 - Our suit overlaps with the one recently
filed by The New York Times insofar as it seeks the legal memos
on which the targeted killing program is based. But our suit is
broader. We’re seeking, in addition to the legal memos, the
government’s evidentiary basis for strikes that killed three
Americans in Yemen in the fall of 2011. We’re also seeking
information about the process by which the administration adds
Americans to secret government “kill lists.” We think it’s
crucial that the administration release the legal memos, but we
don’t think the memos alone will allow the public to evaluate
the lawfulness and wisdom of the program.
Justice, House GOP tangle over access to documents
WASHINGTON (AP) - The Justice Department and Republicans on a
House committee looking into a flawed gun smuggling probe called
Operation Fast and Furious appear to be headed for an impasse
over congressional demands for internal Justice documents. The
dispute is expected to be a prime topic at a congressional
hearing Thursday, when Attorney General Eric Holder testifies
before a panel whose chairman, Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., has
alleged that the Justice Department is engaging in a cover-up.
'Gasland' Journalists Arrested At Hearing By Order Of House
Republicans
Huffington Post - In a stunning break with First Amendment
policy, House Republicans directed Capitol Hill police to detain
a highly regarded documentary crew that was attempting to film a
Wednesday hearing on a controversial natural gas procurement
practice. Initial reports from sources suggested that an ABC
News camera was also prevented from taping the hearing; ABC has
since denied that they sent a crew to the hearing.

Evidence that we have a fraud and a usurper currently residing

lack of journalistic investigating on the part of the American
press. But now new evidence indicates that the conspiracy to
carry out that fraud was much broader than originally thought.

US Intel Director Prepares Public for False Flag Event
Tony Cartalucci - “…it would be far more preferable if the

Murphy condemns purchase of 9/11 commemoration bracelets from
China
New Haven Register - In a letter sent to TSA Administrator John
Pistole on Tuesday, Murphy called on agency officials to explain
the legal authority by which the contract was awarded. Murphy is
co-chairman and founder of the congressional Buy American
Caucus. “I was frustrated to learn that your agency recently
purchased 70,000 bracelets commemorating the 10 year anniversary
of the September 11th 2001 attacks that were made in China,”
Murphy wrote to Pistole. “These bracelets cost U.S. taxpayers
$17,500, and was another poor decision in a long line of
contracting awards throughout the federal government that have
cost American jobs and sent American tax dollars to
manufacturers overseas.
TSA discovery prompts New York bomb scare – six hours later
CNN - A New York airport screener who removed two pipes from a
traveler's bag and set them aside Monday morning prompted a
security scare six hours later when the next shift saw the pipes
and feared they might be pipe bombs, local and federal officials
said.... The bomb squad removed the devices at 5:30 p.m. -- six
hours after they were taken from the passenger. The devices were
taken to a remote location for examination or disposal, one
official said. "We have still not been told what it was or what
it was composed of," Della Fave said. Several law enforcement
sources told CNN the objects were determined to be homeopathic
medical devices.
VIDEO: Senator Rand Paul Joins Lawsuit Against President Obama’s
Recess Appointments
Jan 31, 2012 - Today, Sen. Rand Paul announced he will submit an
amicus brief supporting a recent lawsuit filed by the National
Right to Work Foundation (NRTW), the National Federation of
Independent Business (NFIB) and others, challenging the legality
of President Barack Obama’s recess appointments to the National
Labor Relations Board and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
Sheriff Who Challenged Feds for Amish Raw Dairy Farmer Receives
Award for "Meritorious Valor"; CA Sheriff Vows to Protect
Herdshares
One of the best ways to get elected county sheriff these days is
to campaign against the encroachments by the federal government
on basic rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution. And then,
to act on your campaign agenda...well, that could win you an
award. A good number of the 125 or so sheriffs attending the
first convention of the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace
Officers Association (CSPOA) in Las Vegas over the last couple
of days (together with another approximately 100 other
enforcement personnel), appear to have been elected in just the
last year or two. One of the most heartwarming stories by a
recently elected official came from Sheriff Brad Rogers of
Elkhart County in Indiana.
Sheriffs Who Won't Be "Milk Police" Gather in Vegas
County sheriffs and federal officials bickering over land, guns
and water policies are as old as the West, but the
Constitutional Sheriffs Convention, underway for the past three
days in Las Vegas, has something new on the menu --- food safety
regulation. "I made the decision that the El Dorado County
Sheriff's Office was not going to be the milk police," Sheriff
John D'Agostini told his Board of Supervisors in California
ahead of the convention.
Missouri sheriff tries flashing signs to fight crime
KANSAS CITY, Missouri (Reuters) - Short on deputies, a Missouri
sheriff's office has turned to electronic stand-ins to combat a
surge in crime. Officials in rural Greene County, in the
southwest part of the state, are using flashing signs to alert
residents to recent burglaries in their neighborhoods and to
urge people to report suspicious activity. "We want to let the
bad guys know that neighbors will be watching out for
neighbors," said Greene County Sheriff Jim Arnott.
Kansas Business Coalition Working Toward Backdoor Amnesty Plan
Rant of the Day - As of December 2011, there were 95,507
unemployed U.S. Citizens in Kansas, but a coalition of business
groups, including the Kansas Chamber of Congress, are proposing
that Kansas start a new program to allow illegal immigrants to
remain in the state. According to the coalition, illegal
immigrant labor is necessary to avoid “labor shortages” in
agriculture and other industries, such as landscaping, roofing,
construction. State officials and backers do not have any hard
numbers for how many jobs are in “danger of going unfilled,” but
estimate the number of illegal-immigrant workers at 45,000 –
just under half the total number of unemployed Americans in the
state.
Rhode Island Voters Overwhelmingly Support Immigration
Enforcement
PR Newswire Nearly three-quarters of Rhode Island voters, 74
percent, say that illegal immigration negatively affects the
state. Voters also overwhelmingly oppose an executive order
signed by Gov. Chafee preventing Rhode Island police from
notifying federal authorities when they arrest or detain an
individual they suspect is an illegal alien. The poll also
indicates widespread opposition to a new policy which allows
illegal aliens to attend public colleges and universities at
subsidized in-state tuition rates.
Drug war hypocrisy: drug trafficking's big money benefits Big
Brother and corrupt banksters
(NaturalNews) The hypocrisy of the war on drugs is outrageous
when compared to the amount of drug trafficking that benefits
the CIA and international banking system. The son of a convicted
notorious mobster, John Gotti Jr, when asked in court if the
family still dealt drugs cracked, "No, we can't compete with the
government." Today in Afghanistan, American troops have been
seen guarding poppy fields used to make heroin. Those fields
were all but wiped out by 2001 when the Taliban destroyed them
and forbade that agricultural pursuit. Now they're flourishing
again after the American occupation.
VIDEO: Ron and Rand Paul Vindicated On “Civil Rights Act / Right
To Discriminate” Issue
Both Congressman Ron Paul and his son Senator Rand Paul have
been repeatedly vilified by the mainstream media for stating
certain parts of the 1964 Civil Rights Act go too far when
violating a private business owners right to discriminate. Yet
today CNN is lauding a private business owner, who discriminated
against a customer, as a hero.
Paul campaign: Newt must pay medical bills for broken foot
Daily Caller - The Ron Paul campaign is demanding that Newt
Gingrich pay the medical bills for Eddie Dillard, a Paul
supporter whose foot was broken Tuesday after Gingrich staffers
intentionally stomped on it. Campaigning at a Florida polling
place Tuesday, Gingrich was greeted by Dillard, who held his
Paul sign as Gingrich supporters rallied around their candidate.
Gingrich staffers were not pleased with this and, according to a
report by Yahoo! News’ Chris Moody, encouraged one another to
physically impede the flip-flop wearing Dillard.
GALLUP: State polls predict huge Obama loss
Gallup released their annual state-by-state presidential
approval numbers yesterday, and the results should have 1600
Pennsylvania Avenue very worried. If President Obama carries
only those states where he had a net positive approval rating in
2011 (e.g. Michigan where he is up 48 percent to 44 percent),
Obama would lose the 2012 election to the Republican nominee 323
electoral votes to 215.
Sources: Trump to endorse Newt
Word started leaking out in Las Vegas earlier that Donald
Trump's "major announcement" is to back Newt Gingrich, and
sources are confirming it to POLITICO. The move is a bit
unexpected since Trump had talked even within the past few days
about how he may be compelled to run a third-party campaign of
his own if he didn't see a Republican candidate who he thought
could beat President Barack Obama.
Republican Establishment Excludes Ron Paul From
2012 CPAC Event
Paul Joseph Watson - Despite winning the event’s annual straw
poll for the last two years running, Ron Paul has seemingly been
excluded from this year’s CPAC conference... The exclusion of
Paul is likely a maneuver by GOP insiders to re-align CPAC, the
biggest annual conservative confab, with the Republican
establishment and prevent an embarrassing straw poll defeat for
likely presidential pick Mitt Romney, who Paul beat in 2010 and
2011.
According to the CPAC website, fellow presidential
candidates Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum will all
address the event scheduled to take place Feb. 8-11 in
Washington, but Ron Paul will be absent.
Ron Paul campaign raises $13 million
Politico - About 56 percent of Paul’s contribution total came
from people donating $200 or less, federal disclosure reports
his campaign filed just before midnight Wednesday indicate. The
haul is about $3.5 million more than fellow GOP hopeful Newt
Gingrich raised during the same period but still well off the
torrid cash-collecting pace set by Republican frontrunner Mitt
Romney and President Barack Obama.
Why Ron Paul Has A Good Chance Of Winning In Nevada & Maine
Steve Watson - Paul’s campaign has a lot riding on Nevada where
the Congressman, scheduled to hold a major press conference in
Las Vegas today, has polled consistently high for weeks. Indeed,
Paul has been running ads in The Silver State since last summer
in anticipation of the caucuses which begin this Saturday, Feb
4th. When Paul unveiled his centerpiece budget plan last
October, he did it in Las Vegas. Four years ago Paul placed
second in Nevada behind Mitt Romney. This time around Paul’s
support has grown exponentially, while Romney’s has more or less
remained the same.
New Poll Shows That Only Paul Or Romney Can Beat Obama
Steve Watson - A new USA Today/Gallup poll indicates that of the
four remaining contenders for the GOP nomination, only Mitt
Romney and Ron Paul are capable of challenging and defeating the
incumbent president. According to the poll, Congressman Paul
trails Obama by just three percentage points at 49 to 46
percent. That is within the five point margin of error and could
easily be overturned if Paul were to win the nomination.
Gingrich Ballot Fraud: Virginia Election Officials Confirm
Criminal Investigation
The Brad Blog has received confirmation from two different state
agencies that the 1,500 alleged cases of ballot petition fraud
said to have been carried out on behalf of the Gingrich
campaign, in their unsuccessful attempt to qualify for the
Republican primary ballot in Virginia, are now being carried out
by the state Attorney General’s office. In late December, after
Gingrich had failed to turn in enough valid signatures to
qualify for the Virginia primary ballot, he was caught on video
tape telling a supporter in Iowa that the reason for the failure
was due to a campaign worker who created 1,500 fraudulent
signatures.

Free Money for Banks Does NOT Stimulate the Economy!
Dr. Ron Paul - Chairman Bernanke says they are keeping interest
rates so low for so long because the economic outlook warrants
it. The fallacies in their reasoning would be amusing if they
weren’t so dangerous. The Fed wants to keep the price of money
at essentially zero – in other words “free” – to boost the
economy. But the boost they are attempting won’t get here for
another three years. That’s not a recovery. And we’ve already
tried this tactic. That’s how we got into this mess in the first
place: with interest rates artificially low for a very long
time.
Warm winter creates winners and losers in U.S. economy
(Reuters) - Halfway through what might turn out to be the second
mildest U.S. winter on record, major parts of the nation's
economy are feeling the impact, for better or worse. Apparel
sales have been dented, ski slopes are emptier, and there has
probably been a modest impact on economic figures for everything
from payroll numbers to housing starts. But lower energy prices
mean that some consumers and municipal governments will likely
benefit as heating charges and snow removal costs decline. And
some retailers are betting on the early sale of lawn mowers.
Indiana senate OKs anti-union "right-to-work" bill
INDIANAPOLIS (Reuters) - Indiana became the 23rd state to pass
anti-union "right-to-work" legislation on Wednesday and the
first in the nation's manufacturing heartland, dealing a blow to
organized labor by allowing workers to opt out of paying union
dues. Indiana's Republican governor Mitch Daniels signed the
legislation into law immediately after it was given final
approval in the state Senate, making Indiana the first state to
adopt such a measure since Oklahoma did so a decade ago.
House prices hit post-bubble low
Washington Post - Data released Tuesday showed that seasonally
adjusted housing prices have reached a post-bubble low, as the
minor surge that began in 2009 fizzled, to be followed by the
almost continuous slide of the past 18 months. The housing bust,
in other words, appears to be even worse than it was at the
nadir of the recession. For millions of homeowners, that’s an
unsettling reality, and potentially an issue in the presidential
campaign. But the damage may be far more widespread.
2nd NY plea in federal sub-prime mortgage probe
NEW YORK (AP) — Two former Credit Suisse traders have pleaded
guilty to conspiracy in a New York probe of the federal
sub-prime mortgage securities market. Salmaan Siddiqui pleaded
guilty Wednesday in Manhattan and signed a cooperation

Suisse managing director, David Higgs, also signed a cooperation
agreement while pleading guilty. The charge carries a potential
maximum sentence of five years in prison.
California San Onofre Nuclear Plant Shutdown: Small
radioactive release possible
After an unplanned, precautionary shutdown of a reactor at the
San Onofre nuclear plant Tuesday, a plant spokesman said
Wednesday that a possible leak in one of the reactor’s steam
generator tubes could have resulted in a tiny release of
radioactive material into the atmosphere. “We can’t make a black
and white statement that absolutely none escaped,” [Gil
Alexander, spokesman for plant operator Southern California
Edison said]. “The question is, can it be measured above
background (levels)? We have been monitoring that, and the
answer is no.” VIDEO: Not to compare, but we’ve heard the same
thing from nuclear officials before...

American Board of Radiology clamps down on rampant cheating

(NaturalNews) Memorizing board certification test questions and
relaying them to other doctors soon to take the test themselves
has become common practice among radiology doctors seeking to
become board certified. But the American Board of Radiology (ABR),
as well as a number of educational institutions, are cracking
down on this practice, known as "recalls," after escalating
concerns about how this form of cheating could ruin the
integrity of the board certification process.
Calcium-rich oat straw has been clinically proven to aid a
variety of health issues
(NaturalNews) Many people have at least heard of the word "avena"
in connection with oatmeal baths and facial masks. However, not
as many people are aware of the healing properties contained in
oat straw. Calcium-rich oat straw (avena sativa), is the green
oat grass and tops in the "milky" stage before the mature oat
grains form a head. Many resources in the alternative health
literature promote oat straw for osteoporosis and osteopenia.
Oat straw is also promoted as being a nervine herb, which can be
used as a remedy for anxiety. The herb has been recently proven
to aid in cognitive performance in the brain.
Grapes found to help prevent age-related blindness even better
than lutein
(NaturalNews) Lutein has long been hailed for its ability to
help protect against, and even reverse, the devastating effects
of age-related macular degeneration. But a new study published

grapes may work even better than lutein at mitigating
age-related blindness due to their high levels of antioxidants.
Frying potatoes to make chips or French fries produces a potent
chemical carcinogen called acrylamide
(NaturalNews) Baking, roasting or frying any starchy food at
high temperatures causes the sugars found in these foods to
combine with an amino acid to produce high levels of a potent
carcinogen known as acrylamide.... For people willing to go to a
little extra effort to make French fries at home, there are ways
to minimize acrylamide content. Potatoes should be stored
outside the refrigerator in a cool, dark place. Before frying,
they should be sliced, soaked in water for 15-30 minutes, then
patted dry. They should be fried at lower temperatures for less
time, until they are golden yellow -- not brown.
EPA Delays Dioxin Hazard Report Once Again Due to Industry
Pressure
Natural Society - The industry-controlled EPA promised to
release its dioxin hazard reassessment report, but blew its own
deadline – again. Amazingly, the original dioxin toxicity report
was due out in 1985. Dioxin is extremely toxic and can cause
cancer, birth defects, liver damage and many other harmful
effects. Monsanto and Dow Chemical were the top 2 dioxin
producers, a byproduct of the herbicide 2,4,5-T; 300 million
pounds of their dioxin-laden herbicide pollutes 400 million
acres across the United States. Herbicide 2,4,5-T is half the
recipe for Agent Orange; the poison was phased out by the late
1970′s.
Home births have increased by nearly 30 percent since 2004
(NaturalNews) More parents are taking control of their birthing

by nearly 30 percent between 2004 and 2009.
Statins increase diabetes in postmenopausal women by seventy
percent
(NaturalNews) The result of a study published in the Archives of
Internal Medicine finds that statin use in postmenopausal women
significantly increases the risk of developing diabetes. In
spite of this damning evidence, researchers do not recommend
that the American Diabetes Association guidelines for primary
and secondary prevention should be changed. Statins account for
hundreds of billions in pharmaceutical sales each year, and
there is scant evidence they do anything to promote
cardiovascular or overall health.

adding silk-producing spider genes into the human genome to
produce ‘bulletproof’ skin. The news comes after testing was
done on bio-engineered human skin that was grown in a laboratory
and mixed with ‘milk’ created from a genetically engineered
‘spider goat‘. This is a goat that has been genetically tweaked
to produce the same protein found in spider silk.

Daily Mail - Scientists believe they have found a way to read
our minds, using a computer program that can decode brain
activity in our brains and put it into words. They say it could
offer a lifeline to those whose speech has been affected by
stroke or degenerative disease, but many will be concerned about
the implications of a technique that can eavesdrop on thoughts
and reproduce them.

said resident Dennis Kelleher....Residents say the only
interested developer is Montgomery Soccer Inc. (MSI). According
to the minutes from a 2009 MSI board meeting, the group set
aside $350,000 for lobbying purposes.

two areas in which I have learned the most and am able to share
the most. So, with so many new readers here at Backdoor

tongue that revealed far more than anything that was properly
articulated. “One of the first things that I did was to express my
appreciation for the institution building that’s been taking place in
Russia,” Obama declared, before quickly correcting himself. “Er, in
Georgia…” Then, after speaking about the possibility of a free trade
agreement with Georgia, Obama held out the golden bait of NATO
membership to Saakashvili. We talked about how we will strengthen our
defense cooperation,” Obama said. “I reaffirmed to the president and
assured him that the United States will continue to support Georgia’s
aspirations for ultimately becoming a member of NATO.”

Intervention in Syria is coming
Lebanon Now - The United States faces a terrible conundrum regarding
Syria. The Obama administration wants the regime of Bashar al-Assad
gone, but it does not want to see the unfolding of the very
processes—conflict and possible international intervention—that seem to
be emerging as the only viable means to achieve that. This means that
the United States has condemned itself to thus far playing an almost
entirely reactive role, even in the context of the limited means at its
disposal to influence events in Syria. However, standing on the
sidelines and warning all players not to do what they are already doing.

EU to spend 3 million Euros promoting insects ‘as alternative source of
protein’

in the UK or elsewhere in the European Union, it is estimated that about

radiation emitted by some of the scanning machines and give
airline passengers, especially those passengers in sensitive
groups, such as pregnant women, clear notice of their ability to
choose another screening option in lieu of exposure to ionizing
radiation,” Senator Senator Susan Collins (R-ME) told The
Register in an email.

Ron Paul: Stop taxing tips
Las Vegas Sun - I’ve introduced the Tax Free Tips Act in
Congress, which would exempt tips from federal income and
payroll taxes, meaning no more taxes on tips. That’s because I
understand ending taxes on tips will give these workers a pay
raise, letting them keep more money to put toward things like a
house or car payment, their retirement, or their own and/or
their children’s education. If elected president, I will end
this injustice on service-industry workers all across our nation
by abolishing all taxes on tips once and for all.

The claim for copyright infringement, lodged on Monday by Rude
Music Inc in an Illinois federal court, relates to Gingrich's
use of the song at his political rallies. Rude Music Inc is
owned by Frank Sullivan, who co-wrote the Grammy award-winning
song. In addition to Gingrich, the complaint names as defendants

violation it alleges is intentional since Gingrich is
"sophisticated and knowledgeable" concerning copyright laws.

Dillard, trying to intimidate him into moving. One of Gingrich's
security agents stepped in front of him. When Dillard didn't
budge, the agent lifted his heeled shoe over Dillard's bare foot
and dug the back of it into his skin, twisting it side-to-side
like he was stomping out a cigarette. Shocked, Dillard kept his
ground and took a picture of the agent with his phone, which was
quickly knocked out of his hand. Dillard slipped off his
flip-flop to pick up the phone with his foot, and a Gingrich

VIDEO: Former Israeli army commander heading private security
firm says he's ready to crush #OccupyMiami
Huffington Post - A sign of uncertain times, or marketing of
questionable taste? As Occupy Miami received its most certain
eviction notice yet, possibly leading to a sunset showdown of
sorts with police, a Miami security company issued a statement
boasting their readiness to "intervene, should riots occur."
Apparently, should Tuesday's deadline send tents flying, police
should look for help from Bryant Security -- who recommend the
community prepare for "data protection...community/group

plan" "in case of riots or other emergencies." Referring to
Bryant's president, listed as a former long-range reconnaissance
unit commander for the Israeli Defense Force, the release

Occupy Oakland protesters split over violence
SF Gate - For many Occupy activists outside Oakland and San
Francisco, the violent clashes with police and destruction that
attended protests in those cities over the past two weeks not
only went against the Occupy message - they've started to
undercut its essence. Even within the cities, there is a
deepening split between those who accept violence as a tactic
and those who oppose it.

of the U.S. economy in taxes will increase by more than 30
percent between 2012 and 2014, according to the Budget and
Economic Outlook published today by the CBO.... “mostly because
of the recent or scheduled expirations of tax provisions, such
as those that lower income tax rates and limit the reach of the
alternative minimum tax (AMT), and the imposition of new taxes,
fees, and penalties that are scheduled to go into effect.”

surprising since lawmakers previously believed the state had
enough cash to last through the fiscal year that ends in June.
Survival guide - Buy and sell scrap gold jewelry for investment

CBO slashes cost of Fannie, Freddie over next decade
Housing Wire - Taxpayers will spend another $27 billion between
2013 and 2022 subsidizing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, according
to the Congressional Budget Office estimates released Tuesday.

Landowners fight eminent domain in Pa. gas field
LAPORTE, Pa. (AP) -- A pipeline operator assured federal
regulators it would minimize using eminent domain against
private landowners if given approval to lay a 39-mile natural
gas pipeline in northern Pennsylvania's pristine Endless
Mountains. Yet the company was readying condemnation papers
against dozens of landowners even as the Federal Energy
Regulatory Commission was considering its application for the
$250 million MARC 1 pipeline. Within two days of winning
approval, Central New York Oil & Gas Co., LLC went to court to
condemn nearly half the properties along the pipeline's route -
undercutting part of the regulatory commission's approval
rationale and angering landowners who are now fighting the
company in court.

CASH FROM BIG OIL
Washington, D.C. –Forty-four Senators who introduced legislation
today backing the controversial Keystone XL pipeline received
$22.3 million in campaign contributions from the oil and gas
industry since 1989, according to analysis by 350.org and Public
Campaign Action Fund. The bill, which was announced today by
Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) and cosponsored by 42 GOP senators and
one Democratic Senator, would approve the Keystone XL project
despite the Obama Administration’s rejection of its permit
following months of intensifying protest against it and studies
downplaying its potential economic impact.
Bill Gates funds technology to destroy your sperm
(NaturalNews) Mass vaccination is apparently not the only
depopulation strategy being employed by the Bill & Melinda Gates
Foundation, as new research funded by the organization has
developed a way to deliberately destroy sperm using ultrasound
technology. BBC News reports that the Gates Foundation awarded a
grant to researchers from the University of North Carolina (UNC)
to develop this new method of contraception.... However, Dr.
James Tsuruta, who led the research, told reporters that it is
unclear whether or not the technology can cause long-term
damage, and that more research is needed to determine whether or
not repeated ultrasounds cause permanent damage.
Anti-HIV pill to cause AIDS epidemic?
RT - It has been proven to drastically decrease the chances of
contracting HIV before one is even exposed to the virus: Truvada
is considered a medical breakthrough by some, yet others fear
the once-a-day prevention pill could spur a deadly AIDS
epidemic. AIDS Healthcare Foundation President Michael Weinstein
is weary of how people will use the pill, however, and warns, "I
believe that this could be catastrophic in terms of HIV
prevention.” The argument against approving the pill, says
Weinstein, is that it will encourage partners to engage in
unprotected sex.
Study questions proton therapy for prostate cancer
A warning to men considering a pricey new treatment for prostate
cancer called proton therapy: Research suggests it might have
more side effects than traditional radiation does. A study of
Medicare records found that men treated with proton beams later
had one-third more bowel problems, such as bleeding and
blockages, than similar men given conventional radiation...
Medicare covers it - even though no rigorous studies have tested
whether it is as safe or effective as usual care. It costs
around $48,000 - at least twice as much as other prostate
radiation treatments.

Scientists prove the healing effects of wheat grass juice and
wheat grass extract
(NaturalNews) Wheat grass is composed of the young shoots of
wheat before stalks form a head with grain. It contains no wheat
gluten, and is considered by many natural health professionals
to possess healing properties. Wheat grass is, by composition, a
superfood. This is due to wheat grass's heavy concentration of
chlorophyll, vitamins, minerals, and enzymes. Wheat grass is
usually consumed either as wheat grass powder or juice. It can
be taken orally, or as an effective enema implant for
detoxification.
FDA’s New Claim: “Your Body Is a Drug—and We Have the Authority
to Regulate It!”
ANH - In another outrageous power-grab, FDA says your own stem
cells are drugs—and stem cell therapy is interstate commerce
because it affects the bottom line of FDA-approved drugs in
other states! We wish this were a joke, but it’s the US Food and
Drug Administration’s latest claim in its battle with a Colorado
clinic over its Regenexx-SD™ procedure, a non-surgical treatment
for people suffering from moderate to severe joint or bone pain
using adult stem cells.
Virginia moves to repeal mandatory HPV vaccine
Virginia was the first state in the nation to mandate HPV
vaccinations for young girls 11 to 12 years old in 2007, and now
it’s the first state that’s shepherding legislation to eliminate
that state’s HPV vaccination mandate. Hopefully, other states
will curry up the courage and do likewise before an entire
generation of young women becomes non-functional, as the VAERS
adverse reports seem to be indicating.
Pfizer Recalls 1 Million Birth-Control Packs After Mix-Up in
Pill Dosages
Bloomberg - Pfizer Inc., the world’s biggest drugmaker, recalled
1 million packs of birth-control pills after discovering a
packaging error that may cause women to take the wrong dosages
and put them at risk for unintended pregnancies. The company
recalled 14 lots of Lo/Ovral-28 tablets and 14 lots of a generic
version of the medicine, New York-based Pfizer said today in an
e-mail. About 1 million packs of 28 tablets were withdrawn,
Grace Ann Arnold, a Pfizer spokeswoman, said in a separate
e-mail.... The error was “identified and corrected immediately,”
and doesn’t pose immediate health risks, Pfizer said. “However,
consumers exposed to affected packaging should begin using a
non-hormonal form of contraception immediately.”
Why is “Hot Chemo” an Acceptable Cancer Treatment—But IV Vitamin
C is “Too Far Out There”?
ANH - Patients liken hot chemotherapy to “being filleted,
disemboweled, and then bathed in hot poison.” Best patient care,
or merely the biggest moneymaker? According to the New York
Times, hot chemotherapy, which couples extensive abdominal
surgery with blasts of heated chemotherapy to the abdominal
cavity and its organs, was once a niche procedure used mainly
against rare cancers of the appendix.
Proof that the cancer industry doesn't want a cure - even if
it's a pharmaceutical
(NaturalNews) Researchers from the Fred Hutchinson Cancer
Research Center have published the result of a study showing
that a diet rich in slowly digested carbohydrates, such as leafy
green vegetables, legumes and other high-fiber foods,
significantly reduces markers of inflammation associated with
the onset of chronic disease. The work, reported in The Journal
of Nutrition, explains that a diet rich in high-fiber foods
significantly improves insulin signaling and resistance that
promote life-shortening diseases including cancer,
cardiovascular, stroke and dementia.
SaneVax open letter to educators worldwide: Watch for side
effects of HPV vaccines
(NaturalNews) No one can disagree with the fact that children
are the future of the world. Without children, there would be no
future. As educators you are responsible for not only teaching
young minds, but also for the children's physical health and
well-being for several hours each day. The SaneVax team knows
you take your position seriously. Since the adverse events to be
expected after HPV vaccine administration, (GardasilR, CervarixR,
or Silgard) are not widely published, we would like to provide

published in the January issue of the medical journal Focus on
Alternative and Complementary Therapies.
Genetically engineered bourbon?! No joke.
More than 80% of the non-organic products in our pantries
include genetically engineered (GE) ingredients. Turns out, that
even includes bourbon. As Grist reported last week, GE corn —
also known as genetically modified, or GMO — has made its way
into our liquor cabinets: "Bourbon gives us an interesting
window into GMO grain because the spirit must by definition be
made with at least 51 percent corn." Since about 85% of the corn
in the U.S. is grown from genetically engineered seed, most
bourbon is now made from GE corn.
High fiber, low carbohydrate diet dramatically lowers

Tech Giants Under Fire for Conspiracy to Suppress Employee Wages
Activist Post - If current events continue in their present
direction, seven of the world’s largest and most influential
tech companies may have to pay anywhere from 5% to 10% of the
yearly earnings of tens of thousands of their employees. Not
only that, but these payouts may have to be calculated all the
way back to 2005. As reported by TechCrunch, Google, Apple,
Adobe, Intel, Intuit, Pixar, and Lucasfilm are now defendants in
a class action lawsuit alleging that the tech giants conspired
together with the purpose of violating long-standing antitrust
laws in order to artificially suppress the wages of their
employees.
New Mobile-Phone Privacy Law Proposed
Wired - Rep. Edward Markey (D-Massachusetts) unveiled draft
legislation Monday requiring mobile-phone carriers to reveal if
they are employing tracking software such as Carrier IQ.
“Consumers have the right to know and to say ‘no’ to the
presence of software on their mobile devices that can collect
and transmit their personal and sensitive information,” Markey
said in The Hill. Under the Mobile Device Privacy Act (.pdf),
consumers would have to consent that data from their phones
would be sent to third parties, like Carrier IQ in Mountain
View, California.

Deadly FDA-approved pig drug blocks US trade
A drug used to keep pigs lean and boost their growth is
jeopardizing the nation’s exports of what once was known as “the
other white meat.” The drug, ractopamine hydrochloride, is fed
to pigs and other animals right up until slaughter and minute
traces have been found in meat. The European Union, China,
Taiwan and many others have banned its use, citing concerns
about its effect on human health, limiting U.S. meat exports to
key markets.

senior Republican Richard Shelby of Alabama circulated a legislative
draft yesterday that would require companies traded on U.S. stock
exchanges to reveal any Iran-related business to the Securities and

Iraqis terrified of US drones
RT - America’s War in Iraq has finally ended, but the same can’t be said
about the United States’ presence overseas. Iraqis are now outraged that
the US is operating a fleet of surveillance drone aircraft planes over
the country.... Adnan al-Asadi, the acting minister of interior in Iraq,
tells the New York Times, “Our sky is our sky, not the USA’s sky.” To
American authorities, however, policing the world requires no
boundaries. Military contractors speaking of the case seem to think that
other nations are next, too.
State Dept: Americans take refuge at Cairo embassy
(AP) - Three American citizens barred from leaving Egypt have sought
refuge at the American Embassy in Cairo amid growing tensions between
the two allies over an Egyptian investigation into foreign-funded
pro-democracy groups. The White House said Monday it was disappointed
with Egypt's handing of the issue, which U.S. officials have warned
could stand in the way of more than $1 billion in badly needed U.S. aid.

Australia: Lobby Group Formed to Remove Alternative Medicine,
Chiropractic Courses from Universities
The mainstream medical practitioners in Australia seem to think that
alternative medicine has no place, and chose to form a powerful lobby
group to pressure universities to get rid of any alternative medicine
degrees. The group, comically calling themselves ‘Friends of Science in
Medicine’, have even openly denounced alternative medicine as
‘quackery’. They specifically stated that universities offering these
alternative degrees are ruining their reputation by giving “undeserved
credibility to what in many cases would be better described as quackery”
and by “failing to champion evidence-based science and medicine.”
Lockheed Martin leads super lobbying from U.S. defense industry
Washington Post - Defense contractors Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics
and Raytheon spent a combined $33.4 million on lobbying in Washington
last year, a 10 percent increase from 2010, as Congress and the Obama
administration weighed cuts in the Pentagon budget. A review of lobbying
disclosures filed with the Senate by a Jan. 20 deadline showed that
Bethesda-based Lockheed Martin, the world’s largest defense company, led
such spending last year with $15 million for lobbying, a 19 percent
increase.
Doctor who led us to bin Laden was CIA agent, says US - The Independent
Independent - The United States has confirmed publicly for the first
time that a Pakistani doctor long suspected of collecting vital evidence
before the assassination of Osama bin Laden was indeed working for them.
Dr Afridi, the medic in charge of health in the Khyber, was recruited by
the CIA to collect DNA evidence from the children inside the compound to
confirm that they were Bin Laden's – he rarely went anywhere without
them for long. The plan was to mount a local hepatitis vaccination
programme; ostensibly a public health initiative, its real purpose was
to establish the genetics of the people inside the compound.
UK riots: paratroopers are trained in riot control
Telegraph - Hundreds of soldiers from 3rd battalion The Parachute
Regiment spent last week learning how to contain and arrest "rioters" in
a series of exercises mirroring last summers violence. Defence sources

especially during the Olympic Games, the Paras would be "ideally placed"
to provide "short-term" support to police forces around the UK.
Bridge in Mexico is freighted with dreams
Washington Post - Mexico’s $1.5 billion “superhighway” could be hijacked
by the country’s powerful drug cartels. “This is a symbol of the
prosperity we want for Mexico, a symbol of the Mexico of the future,”
President Felipe Calderon declared at the dedication ceremony for the
bridge. That the Baluarte was built by Mexican engineers was a special
point of pride, he said — proof that the country stands with the
industrial giants of the world. But there is ample reason to worry that
Mexico’s superlative road could also serve as a super-conduit for drug
trafficking.

Emboldened GOP wants to abolish state income taxes
(AP) - A year after Republicans swept into office across the
country, many have trained their sights on what has long been a
fiscal conservative's dream: the steep reduction or even
outright elimination of state income taxes. The idea has
circulated among academics and think-tank researchers for years.
But it's moving quietly into mainstream political discourse,
despite the fact that such sweeping changes would almost
certainly mean a total rewiring of tax systems at a time when
most states are still struggling in the aftermath of the
recession.
British Pair Arrested in United States on Terror Charges Over
Tweet Joke
Intel Hub - Two British tourists were arrested by the Department
of Homeland Security and denied entry to the country after
posting two tweets that were apparently considered terrorist
threats by overzealous agents who did not posses even
rudimentary knowledge of the difference between British and
American English.... The tweets that caused their detention as
possible terrorists were so obviously non threatening that the
fact that agents tasked with protecting our country would not
see this shows just how far down the police state hole America
has actually gone.
Indy Super Bowl: National Security State Protects Sports Fans
from Prostitutes
Kurt Nimmo - In Indianapolis, local cops and the FBI have set-up
a massive surveillance grid ahead of the Super Bowl, slated for
February 5th. The heightened security – including a smartphone
photo and video surveillance network, the installation of 150
new manhole covers, and the virtual lockdown of a 44-block area
– is not in response to a possible attack by al-Qaeda, but will
be used to detect “signs of pickpocketing, prostitution or other
trouble.”
California lawmaker wants ban on ICE detainers… despite risk to
the public
Examiner.com - Don’t look now: illegal alien advocacy groups are
dictating Federal policies. On Saturday, California Assemblyman
Tom Ammiano (D-San Francisco) held a press conference at St.
Mary’s Cathedral to announce he is sponsoring legislation to
counter the federal Secure Communities program, which requires
local law jails to share the fingerprint data of all arrestees
with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Many illegal
alien advocacy groups are complaining that the federal program
has resulted in too many deportations.
VIDEO: Government School: Six Year Old Guilty of Sexual Assault
After Playing Tag
Kurt Nimmo - In politically correct San Francisco, a six year
old boy was charged with sexual assault after playing a game of
tag on the playground. The child was accused of brushing his
best friend’s leg or groin while the two were playing on the
playground at Lupine Hills Elementary in Hercules two months
ago, according to CBS in San Francisco. The parent of the child
said his son was held in the principal’s office and
interrogated. The school coerced a confession from the child. He
was suspended and a sexual battery charge was placed on his
permanent school record, even though there is no such thing as
sexual assault for a six year-old in California.
Ron Paul to be the #2 Candidate by mid-February
The Monitor - This week, Ron Paul is likely to win more
delegates to the 2012 GOP convention than either Newt Gingrich
or Rick Santorum. In fact, he’s likely to win more delegates
than Gingrich and Santorum combined. “Hold it”, you’re saying,
“How can that be? Rep. Paul’s polling in single digits in
Florida. He’s going to finish behind Gingrich and Santorum, as
well as Mitt Romney, in Tuesday’s Florida primary. How can that
translate into beating any of his rivals at all?” We’ll tell you
how – because he’s not winning those delegates in Florida. He’s
winning, or will probably win, at least a few delegates in
Maine.

Floridians will take to the polls to voice who will best
represent the Republican Party. Although Mitt Romney is the GOP
favorite, Ron Paul refuses to go away and many feel he is taking
votes away from the other candidate. But now some conservatives
are saying enough is enough and are asking Ron Paul to remove

Some of the options include being able to register to vote
online and being able to vote on a device like an iPad. The
Oregon Secretary of State Kate Brown says the best way to reach
voters is to use technology, whether that's by letting students
know they can register to vote online, or by allowing people
with disabilities to vote on an iPad.... The state is giving a

MSNBC's 'Now w/Alex Wagner' featured a small piece that focused
on Ron Paul, calling him "Dr. Funny Bone" and "The King of the
One-Liner," due to all his great humor in the last debate.
Surprisingly, they actually praised Paul, with one saying "He's
gonna be in this race for the long haul", followed by a
commentator saying "the longer he can use his momentum and the
spotlight to get his ideas out there, all the better.. As long
as the liberal media stops making fun of him so much". - MSNBC

without having to build a large donor base.
'World eternally contaminated by US DU'
The United States has perpetually contaminated the world,
particularly the Middle East, by using massive amounts of
depleted uranium (DU) in its wars, an analyst tells Press TV.
The US government has notoriously used weaponized depleted
uranium on humans, including in the following instances: 340
tons during the first Persian Gulf War in 1991; in every missile
used during the 1998 Yugoslavian invasion; at least 1,000 tons
in Afghanistan in 2001; and 2,400 tons in Iraq in 2003. Depleted
uranium is radioactive and extremely destructive to humans. It
takes 4.5 billion years for one kilogram of depleted uranium to
reduce to a half a kilogram.

Freddie Mac Bets Against American Homeowners
Freddie Mac, the taxpayer-owned mortgage giant, has placed
multibillion-dollar bets that pay off if homeowners stay trapped
in expensive mortgages with interest rates well above current
rates. Freddie began increasing these bets dramatically in late
2010, the same time that the company was making it harder for
homeowners to get out of such high-interest mortgages.
Illinois nuclear reactor loses power, venting steam
(AP) - A nuclear reactor at a northern Illinois plant shut down
Monday after losing power, and steam was being vented to reduce
pressure, according to officials from Exelon Nuclear and federal
regulators. Unit 2 at Byron Generating Station, about 95 miles
northwest of Chicago, shut down at 10:18 a.m., after losing
power, Exelon officials said. Diesel generators began supplying
power to the plant, and operators began releasing steam to cool
the reactor from the part of the plant where turbines are
producing electricity, not from within the nuclear reactor
itself, officials said. The steam contains low levels of
tritium, a radioactive form of hydrogen, but federal and plant
officials insisted the levels were safe for workers and the
public.

Yerba mate tea kills colon cancer cells
(NaturalNews) A recent scientific study found that
yerba mate tea induces death in human colon cancer cells.
Scientists discovered that in vitro cancer cells died when
exposed to the bioactive compounds present in one cup of the
beverage long valued for its medicinal properties by South
American traditional healers. University of Illinois associate
professor of food chemical and toxicology Elvira de Mejia stated
"The caffeine derivatives in mate tea not only induced death in
human colon cancer cells, they also reduced important markers of
inflammation." Mejia observed that this is important since
inflammation can lead to cancer progression. Her study was
published in Molecular Nutrition & Food Research in latter part
of 2011.
OSHA and NJ Refuse Healthcare Worker Flu Shot Mandates
Activist Post - Good news: not everyone is keen on forcing
healthcare workers into mandatory flu vaccines.... Governor
Chris Christie pocket vetoed a New Jersey bill to mandate flu
vaccines for healthcare workers. Christie's "pocket veto" was
more effective at stopping the bill than a typical veto would
have been.... In a surprising move, Occupational Health and
Safety(OSHA) stepped in: While we are supportive of the Healthy
People 2020 goal of a 90% vaccination rate, we have seen no
evidence that demonstrates that such a high rate is in fact
necessary. Furthermore, the current influenza vaccine is no
magic bullet....
Did you know? Nearly all corn and soy products purchased at
grocery stores are genetically modified and may place your
health at risk
(NaturalNews) More than 90 percent of all soybeans grown in the
United States are genetically modified (GM) for herbicide
resistance and are consequently sprayed with massive quantities
of those toxic chemicals. Fully 85 percent of all corn grown in
the country is also genetically engineered, either for herbicide
resistance or to produce pesticides within its tissues. Since
farmers sell their corn and soy to large distributors who mix
the product together for processing, this essentially means that
100 percent of non-organic corn and soy products on the US
market are GM.

evening primrose oil.
FDA staffers sue agency over surveillance of personal e-mails

accommodate smaller high-speed boats and helicopters commonly used by
Navy SEALs, procurement documents show.

Turmeric, Curcumin Naturally Block Cancer Cells
Activist Post - Researchers at UCLA found that
curcumin — the primary component in turmeric also
responsible for its color — exhibited these cancer-blocking
properties during a study involving 21 participants suffering

enzymes in the patients’ mouths responsible for promoting cancer
spread and growth were inhibited by the curcumin
supplementation. As a result, the curcumin intake halted the
spread of the malignant cells.
Curcumin has previously been found to reduce tumors by 81%
in similarly shocking research, which also gives credence to the

Did the music industry set-up Megaupload to be shut down?
RT - By putting [Megaupload founder] Dotcom behind bars, the
feds didn't just end Megaupload though, once one of the most
visited sites on the Web. By ending the operation, authorities
have also pulled the plug on an endeavor that was scheduled to
launch later this year that could have legitimately disrupted
Hollywood by letting users download songs — and rewarding the
artists with compensation unheard of in the industry.

Treat feline stomatitis naturally
(NaturalNews) Feline stomatitis is a very common and unpleasant
malady for any self respecting cat to have. It is a result of
the modern way of feline health care. Stomatitis is the
inflammation of the mouth. Symptoms include redness and swelling
of any surface. It is painful for the cat to eat, so they may
look forward to their meal, eat a little, then run away, as if
the food has hurt them.... Veterinary treatment is to start off
with antibiotics. If this doesn't work or doesn't hold, they may
increase the course or vary the antibiotic. Further treatment
can involve the use of cortisone and tooth extraction. None of
these measures are addressing the cause of the problem.
Warehouse fiancé: US woman to ‘gay-marry’ historical building
RT - Seattle has an interesting choice about how to spend this
Sunday: a barbeque, an Occupy event or Babylonia Aivaz’s
wedding…to a 107-year-old building. And Aivaz needs to do it
quick: demolition of the warehouse has already begun. Babylonia
says she hopes to save the abandoned building for a community
center.... “If corporations can have rights as people, so can
buildings,” the “bride” told American Komonews, referencing a
Supreme Court decision on political advertising. “I’m doing this
to show the building how much I love it, how much I love
community space and how much I love this neighborhood. And I
want to stop it from gentrification.”

Raw milk vending machines growing in popularity across Europe
(NaturalNews) While American health authorities continue to peddle
unfounded superstition about the so-called dangers of raw milk, which
has spawned authoritarian policies that prevent millions of Americans
from freely accessing it, unpasteurized dairy is all the rage throughout
Europe. And one Polish manufacturer of raw milk vending machines
explained to The Bovine in a recent interview that the installation of
such machines is rapidly spreading both in Poland and across Europe.
Iran is ready to return to nuclear talks
(AP) - Iran is ready to revive talks with the U.S. and other world
powers, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Thursday, but suggested that
Tehran's foes will have to make compromises to prevent negotiations from
again collapsing in stalemate. Iran's insistence that it will never give
up uranium enrichment — the process that makes material for reactors as
well as weapons — scuttled negotiations a year ago and still looms as a
potential deal breaker even as tougher Western sanctions target Iran's
critical oil exports.

YouTube: Why Switzerland Has The Lowest Crime Rate In The World
The key to freedom is to be able to have the ability to defend yourself
&, if you dont have the tools to do that, then you're going to be at the
mercy of whomever wants to put you away. Guns are deeply rooted within
Swiss culture - but the gun crime
rate is so low that statistics are not even kept. The country has a
population of six million, but there are estimated to be at least two
million publicly-owned firearms, including about 600,000 automatic
rifles and 500,000 pistols. This is in a very large part due to
Switzerland's unique system of national defence, developed over the
centuries.
Mexico ups swine flu screening as cases increase
(AP) - Three years after swine flu closed Mexico City and caused an
international scare, the Mexican government and local media are at odds
over the severity of this season's flu virus. Newspapers are warning of
an alarming increase in cases while
the government insists there is no cause for alarm. Federal and state
health officials agree there is an increase, but they say the number of
cases is within the range of a normal flu season. The Mexican health
ministry, however, has listed confusing numbers on its website and it
hasn't specified the rise in cases despite repeated requests from The
Associated Press.

New drone has no pilot anywhere, so who’s accountable?
The Navy’s new drone being tested near Chesapeake Bay stretches
the boundaries of technology: It’s designed to land on the deck
of an aircraft carrier, one of aviation’s most difficult
maneuvers. What’s even more remarkable is that it will do that
not only without a pilot in the cockpit, but without a pilot at
all. The X-47B marks a paradigm shift in warfare, one that is
likely to have far-reaching consequences. With the drone’s
ability to be flown autonomously by onboard computers, it could
usher in an era when death and destruction can be dealt by
machines operating semi-independently.

Obama Eligibility Court Case...Blow By Blow

An “Empty Chair” Defense in Atlanta
Obama’s attorney is pulling out all the stops to disrupt justice

advised his client to skip the hearings. Now, he’s trying behind
the scenes to take the case out of its proper jurisdiction. They
are playing hardball. They are desperate. If everything is
legitimate, why not just show up in court, produce the evidence
and make the legal arguments? I think we know the answer.

Taxpayers still owed $133B from bailout
WASHINGTON (AP) - A government watchdog says U.S. taxpayers are
still owed $132.9 billion that companies haven't repaid from the
financial bailout, and some of that will never be recovered. The
bailout launched at the height of the financial crisis
in September 2008 will continue to exist for years, says a
report issued Thursday by Christy Romero, the acting special
inspector general for the $700 billion bailout. Some bailout
programs, such as the effort to help homeowners avoid
foreclosure by reducing mortgage payments, will last as late as
2017, costing the government an additional $51 billion or so.
36 Obama aides owe $833,000 in back taxes
How embarrassing this must be for President Obama, whose major
speech theme so far this campaign season has been that every
single American, no matter how rich, should pay their "fair
share" of taxes. A new report just out from the Internal Revenue
Service reveals that 36 of President Obama's executive office
staff owe the country $833,970 in back taxes. These people
working for Mr. Fair Share apparently haven't paid any share,
let alone their fair share.
Bank of America extends drop in mortgage rankings

descent in the rankings after it stopped buying loans made by

but it has been gradually paring back the business as it copes
with losses from the disastrous acquisition.
Illinois unemployment rate increased most in nation in 2011
Almost a year after Illinois’ record income tax increase, the
state’s unemployment woes contrast starkly with the slow but
positive national economic recovery. Unemployment rates in 46
states dropped since January 2011, and some dramatically.
Illinois’ unemployment rate, on the other hand, was 9.8 percent
in December, up from 9 percent in January 2011. Simply put,
Illinois placed more people on the unemployment rolls than any
other state in the country.

Anxiety Mounts Over Maturing Real Estate Loans
Borrowers and lenders are starting to grapple with the billions
of dollars in commercial real estate loans made during the boom
year of 2007 that are coming due this year, in a greatly
contracted economy.... Most large commercial mortgage loans are
typically not self-amortizing — that is, they require a balloon
payment upon maturity.... “This means there may not be enough
money available to refinance all of the debt that is coming
due,” said Lawrence J. Longua, a clinical associate professor at
the Schack Institute of Real Estate at New York University.

comes as BP, the states affected by the disaster and the federal
government are discussing a settlement over the nation's largest
offshore oil spill.
Sauerkraut is so full of vitamins and probiotics that ancient
sailors ate it on long voyages to stay healthy
(NaturalNews) Raw, fermented foods are brimming with
health-promoting probiotics and have been staples of the human
diet for thousands of years. One such ancient food is
sauerkraut, produced simply by covering cabbage with water and
letting it sit for several weeks. Naturally occurring bacteria
on the surface of the cabbage leaves thrive in this environment,
chemically changing the cabbage and increasing its B vitamin
content. Perhaps as importantly, fermented cabbage takes much
longer to go bad than fresh cabbage.

VIDEO: We Have the Right to Know About Dioxins in our Food!
OCA - Dioxin, of the Agent Orange infamy, is the most toxic
compound synthesized by man, yet it is still spewing from U.S.
industries. Dioxin pollution rose 10% in 2010. Now, as the
Environmental Protection Agency is set to release the first part
of the dioxin risk assessment it's been working on since 1985,
food industry lobbyists are attempting to block EPA action. Why?
The EPA is likely to confirm what the FDA has reported:
"Although dioxins are environmental contaminants, most dioxin
exposure occurs through the diet, with over 95% coming through
dietary intake of animal fats."
Monsanto’s Infertility-Linked Roundup Found in All Urine Samples
Tested
Mike Barrett - A recent study found high concentrations of
glyphosate, a carcinogen found in herbicides like Monsanto’s
Roundup, in all urine samples tested. The amount of glyphosate
found in the urine was staggering, with each sample containing
concentrations at 5- to 20-fold the limit established for
drinking water. This is just one more piece of evidence that
herbicides are, at the very least, being sprayed out of control.

Take Action: EPA Proposes Expansion of Neurotoxic Pesticide Uses
EPA recently issued its cumulative risk assessment for the
pyrethroid class of insecticides, concluding that these
pesticides “do not pose risk concerns for children or adults,”
ignoring a wealth of independent data that links this class of
chemicals
to certain cancers, respiratory and reproductive problems, and
the onset of insect resistance. The agency went as far to state
that its cumulative assessment supports consideration of
registering additional new uses of these pesticides, potentially
opening the flood gates for manufacturers to bombard the market
with more pyrethroid pesticides, endangering the health of the
public.

Obama Signs Global Internet Treaty Worse Than SOPA
Paul Joseph Watson - White House bypasses Senate to ink

remove web content in US with no legal oversight. The
Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA) was signed by Obama
on October 1 2011, yet is currently the subject of a White House
petition demanding Senators be forced to ratify the treaty. The
White House has circumvented the necessity to have the treaty
confirmed by lawmakers by presenting it an as “executive
agreement,” although legal scholars have highlighted the dubious
nature of this characterization.
Scientists create star matter in a lab: what could possibly go

As scientists work to discover more and more about the galaxy

things. But U.S. Department of Energy scientists working at the

have created superhot solid plasma — the kind of material you
would find at the center of a star or a giant planet.

The Great Escape: Gene-altered crops grow wild.
Throughout North Dakota, little yellow flowers dot thousands of
miles of roadsides. These canola plants, found along most major
trucking routes, look harmless. But they are fueling a
controversy: They prove that large numbers of genetically
modified plants have escaped from farm fields and are now
growing wild. About 80 percent of canola growing along roadsides
in North Dakota contains genes that have been modified to make
the plants resistant to common weed-killers.

Mexico drug war violence blamed on failed U.S. drug policies and false
flag gun-running ops
(NaturalNews) The 2011 Global Commission on Drug Policies in Geneva,
Switzerland was motivated, according to its website, by successful Latin
American conferences convened with national leaders concerned about the
impact on democracy in Latin America from drug use, trafficking, and
gang or cartel violence. One wonders how the Global Commission managed
to consider that conference a success, considering what is actually
going on in Mexico now. The current Mexican drug gang related death toll
of 47,515 contradicts any sense of progress coming from that Latin
American drug conference.

Bernanke says Fed pondering further stimulus
(Reuters) - Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke said on
Wednesday the central bank was ready to offer the economy
additional stimulus after it announced it would likely keep
interest rates near zero until at least late 2014. The Fed also
took the historic step of adopting an explicit inflation target,
though Bernanke took pains to stress that officials would be
flexible about reining in price growth when unemployment was too
high.
VIDEO: In historic shift, Fed sets inflation target
(Reuters) - The Federal Reserve took the historic step on
Wednesday of setting an inflation target, a victory for Chairman
Ben Bernanke that brings the Fed in line with many of the
world's other major central banks. The U.S. central bank, in its
first ever "longer-run goals and policy strategy" statement,
said an inflation rate of 2 percent best aligned with its
congressionally mandated goals of price stability and full
employment. However, it said it was not appropriate to adopt a
fixed goal for employment because the level of unemployment that
can be achieved without sparking inflation is not largely
determined by monetary factors.
George Soros predicts riots, police state and class war for
America
RT - Billionaire investor George Soros has a new prediction for
America. While it might be as dire as it gets for the financial
wiz, this bet concerns more than just the value of the buck.
According to Soros, there's about to be an all-out class war.,,,
“I am not here to cheer you up. The situation is about as
serious and difficult as I’ve experienced in my career,” Soros
tells Newsweek. “We are facing an extremely difficult time,
comparable in many ways to the 1930s, the Great Depression. We
are facing now a general retrenchment in the developed world,
which threatens to put us in a decade of more stagnation, or
worse. The best-case scenario is a deflationary environment. The
worst-case scenario is a collapse of the financial system.”
Third world America: Bodies driven to a pauper's burial in a
U-Haul as tough economic times lead to more mass graves
Mail Online - It's a practice more closely associated with third
world countries, but in
bleak times in a Chicago-area suburb, 30 people were buried in a
mass grave on Wednesday. The pauper's burial section at Homewood
Memorial Gardens was established for those who could not afford
to pay for a burial plot. And it is a problem that's sweeping
America as tough economic times have led to an increase in the
number of indigent burials the morgue must perform.
The mortgage investigations drag on
Reuters - The shape of a possible settlement with the banks over
mortgage fraud has never been clearer. But neither has the fact
that it’s not going to happen any time soon. And without a deal
in hand, Barack Obama ended up making a different announcement
in his State of the Union address: Tonight, I’m asking my
Attorney General to create a special unit of federal prosecutors

MSNBC - A proposed $25 billion settlement between five big
banks, state attorneys general and the Obama administration may

foreclosures or revive the deeply depressed housing market,
however.

after colliding with the blades of about 5,000 wind turbines.
Now the drive for renewable power sources, such as wind and the

Researching genetics as a cause of autism - An expensive attempt
to marginalize vaccine causation
(NaturalNews) It seems that every effort to discount
vaccinations as a source of autism has gone into research to
prove defective genes as the major culprit. Some epidemiological
study based on twins with autism spectrum disorders was done as
early as the mid-1970s. Since then, autism has increased
40-fold. All this from a sudden case of bad genes? This
coincides nicely with a dramatic increase of early childhood
vaccination schedules.
Why more thyroid cancer? Fluoridated water, x-rays, and
radiation are all to blame
(NaturalNews) According to a recent report in USA Today, cases
of thyroid cancer have risen 6.5 percent over the past several
years, and many medical experts are at a loss for explaining why
this is occurring. But mainstream science is ignoring all the
most obvious factors that contribute to the disease -- fluoride
chemicals added to drinking water; excessive medical x-rays; and
radiation from cells phones, computers, naked body scanners, and
nuclear disasters like Fukushima.

Obama Administration says, "No raw milk for you."
Just after New Year's Day, the Obama administration gave its
official response of "No!" to the 6,078 signors of a petition on
WhiteHouse.gov who requested federal-level legalization of all
raw milk sales. Written by Doug McKalip, Senior Policy Adviser
for Rural Affairs in the White House Domestic Policy Council,
the response is full of typical government double speak and
sleight of hand with facts and figures. For instance, the
response starts off by saying, "We appreciate consumer concerns
on food issues and understand the importance of letting
consumers make their own food choices."
Urge your Congressmen to co-sponsor HR 1830 and help restore raw
milk rights
(NaturalNews) For 15 years, the US Food and Drug Administration
(FDA) has been overstepping its regulatory bounds by restricting
individuals from buying and selling -- or even just transporting
-- raw milk across state lines. But legislation authored by Rep.
Ron Paul (R-Tex.) will undo this form of food tyranny, if
passed, by once again establishing freedom of food choice for
millions of Americans that currently do not have access to raw
milk.

Farm Stand Forced to Close
San Juan County in Washington State did the indefensible. They
closed a farm stand that had been in operation for more than two
and a half years. Was it because health inspectors found unsafe
food being sold? No. Perhaps it was because the farm didn't have
the proper permits to sell food? No. It's because the county
recently decided that since the farm stand was "open to the
public," it had to meet commercial building requirements. Of
course, when the Jones Family Farm first erected their on-farm
stand, they were told by the county planning department that
they were exempt from commercial building requirements.

Obama Speech Makes Pitch for Economic Fairness
President Obama pledged on Tuesday President Obama pledged on
Tuesday night to use government power to balance the scale
between America’s rich and the rest of the public, trying to
present an election-year choice between continued leadership
toward an economy “built to last” and what he called
irresponsible policies of the past that caused an economic
collapse.
Obama Makes Populist Pitch
WSJ - President Barack Obama offered Americans a populist
economic vision in his State of the Union address Tuesday,
seeking to draw a contrast with his eventual Republican rival
and demonstrating the widening policy gulf between the two
political parties. Mr. Obama's laundry-list of initiatives—steep
tax increases on wealthier Americans, fresh investigations into
the mortgage crisis and support for domestic manufacturing—was
aimed at buttressing a re-election message that posits him as
defender of Americans beset by inequality in the tax code and
broader economy. "It's time to apply the same rules from top to
bottom: No bailouts, no handouts and no copouts," Mr. Obama
said. "An America built to last insists on responsibility from
everybody."
Ron Paul Responds To Obama's State Of The Union Speech
Chicago Sun-Times - "Tonight, President Obama once again showed
that he does not represent the fundamental change this country
needs. Instead of offering solutions to the problems our country
faces, the President was intent on delivering a campaign speech,
further dealing in the typical Washington political gamesmanship
that has gotten us exactly nowhere close to improving the lives
of the American people.

Homeland Security Mission
Aaron Dykes - A new white paper presented to the House Permanent
Select Committee on Intelligence carves out an ‘evolving

agencies and private-public partnerships already underway via
regional fusion centers. Crafted by the Aspen Institute Homeland
Security Group, co-chaired by former DHS chief Michael Chertoff
and composed of a who’s who of national security figures, the
report outlines a total mission creep, as the title “Homeland

and profiting off of people,” Hennecke said in a phone interview
with Press TV's U.S. Desk on Monday. He cited Wells Fargo, a
giant financial services company, as a notable example of big
financial corporations' involvement in private prison system in

out-of-control police state that, while doing nothing to make us
safer, is working overtime to strip away our freedoms, our

total of only 7 small signs for Santorum, 2 lonely little signs
for Gringrich that were held by two guys in dark suits (spooky),
and again, just on that one street, HUNDREDS of Ron Paul signs

was no bad behavior.

Romney’s Answer on Illegal Immigration: “Self-deportation”
Miami Herald Blog - The topic of immigration, mainly what to do
about illegal immigration, got plenty of reaction from the
Republican candidates on Monday night - and on Twitter. Perhaps
the most interesting - and the one most tweeted about - was
Romney's "self-deportation" idea for helping curb the number of
illegal immigrants.'... "The answer is self-deportation, which
is people decide they can do better by going home because they
can't find work here because they don't have legal documentation
to allow them to work here," Romney said.
Romney ‘Proud Of The Fact’ That He Pays ‘A Lot’ Of Taxes, But
His Plan Would Cut His Own Taxes In Half
[Citizens for Tax Justice] calculated what Romney would pay if
his own plan passed. That is, if you kept the Bush tax cuts in
place, including keeping the capital gains tax at 15 percent,
and scrapped the Medicare tax, as Romney wants to do. Under that
system, Romney would pay a rate of a little under 15 percent —
because virtually all his income is from capital gains and
dividends. The group calculates that this means Romney’s plan
would give him a tax cut of more than 40 percent.
How To Avoid Voting For A Globalist Puppet
Alt-Market - How can the people of this country avoid making the
mistake of voting for such disingenuous candidates when they
seem so adept at telling us what we want to hear until they are
comfortably in office? The key is to stop listening to what they
SAY, and start looking closely at what they DO. We must ignore
their rhetoric, their speeches written by proxy, and their bad
jokes slapped together by hired staff, and begin examining their
actions and their backgrounds.

VA assigns officer to verify claims involving secret missions
Lack of records access has been seen by many spec ops veterans
as a roadblock to filing claims, especially for disabilities
such as post-traumatic stress, for which there may be nothing in
military health or personnel records to verify any treatment
while the veteran was in uniform. Now, the Veterans Affairs
Department has assigned a liaison officer to the U.S. Special
Operations Command with direct access to classified files.

the next decade by trimming the size of the military and
canceling or scaling back some weapons programs. Defense

the decade. Cuts in proposed spending are expected to eliminate
thousands of military and civilian jobs over the next five years
at a time when Obama is running for re-election against a field
of Republicans who accuse him of being weak on national

GETTING OUT: 1,000+ Americans ditched their citizenship over
taxes
Rather than deal with the complexities of U.S. tax law,
Americans living overseas are increasingly renouncing their
citizenship in order to avoid paying their income taxes.
According to National Taxpayer Advocate Nina E. Olson,
approximately 4,000 people gave up their citizenship from fiscal
year 2005 to FY 2010. Renunciations increased sharply within the
past three years, from 146 in FY 2008 to 1,534 in FY 2010. And

Bank strategy backfires in foreclosure crisis
Press TV - Housing investors and advocates are embracing a new
strategy to keep struggling borrowers in their homes: Purchasing
houses from homeowners who can no longer afford to pay the
mortgage, then leasing the property back to the previous owner
at an affordable rent. The problem is the strategy is
prohibited. The nation's major banks and mortgage companies, as
well as housing giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, typically bar
the previous owners from remaining in their properties after
homes are sold for less than the value of the outstanding
mortgage -- what is known as a short sale.

Children herded like cattle into Maryland courthouse for forced
vaccinations as armed police and attack dogs stand guard
Mike Adams - Following the State of Maryland's threats against
parents who refuse to have their children vaccinated, children
were herded into a Price George County courthouse being guarded
by armed personnel with attack dogs. Inside, the children were
forcibly vaccinated, many against their will, under orders from
the State Attorney General, various State Judges and the local
School Board Director, all of whom illegally conspired to
threaten parents with imprisonment if they did not submit their
children to vaccinations....Where is the outrage?
The Vaccination Agenda: Implicit Transhumanism
Activist Post - A new paper published in the journal Lupus
entitled "Mechanisms of aluminum adjuvant toxicity and
autoimmunity in pediatric populations," points out that as many
as 125 antigenic compounds, along with high amounts of aluminum
(AI) adjuvants are given to children by the time they are 4 and
6 years old, in some "developed" countries. The authors also
state: "Immune challenges during early development, including
those vaccine-induced, can lead to permanent detrimental
alterations of the brain and immune function. Experimental
evidence also shows that simultaneous administration of as
little as two to three immune adjuvants can overcome genetic
resistance to autoimmunity."
Avoid antibiotics - There are alternatives
(NaturalNews)A much better solution is to use antiviral and
antibacterial herbs and supplements to fight infections. So at
the first sign of a virus take a Chinese Herbal Yin Chiao
(pronounced "chow") formula.... Black Elderberry (Sambucus nigra)
is also an excellent antiviral and safe for children. Echinacea
is sometimes helpful to stimulate white blood cell production as
well. These are all available at many health food stores or on
the Internet. For any infections take liquid silver, vitamin C
(children can take Emergen-C powder, vitamin A (10,000-50,000 IU),
and increase your vitamin D to at least 10,000 IU (children can
take 4,000-5,000 for infections).

that can invade the human body. It is a known carcinogen and
tissue irritant. Yet the chemical is still allowed in "safe"
concentrations in certain products we touch, put on our skin or
hair, and inhale every day. Formaldehyde is used for a variety
of industrial purposes, but most of us know it as the funky
smelling liquid that preserved the dissection subjects in
biology class. Long term preservation is just one of its
functions. It serves as a disinfectant, embalming agent,
chemical preservative, and solvent.
Dentist accused of paper clip use in root canals

Cigarette tobacco leaves are genetically engineered to produce
pesticides
(NaturalNews) Monsanto's scientists "bio-engineer" specific
toxic chemicals with nature's seedlings so that the plants
actually grow out from the ground with pesticide as part of
their genetic makeup. In this regard, farmers can spray
unlimited amounts of toxic pesticide on the plants and they
won't wither or die. This "bastardized" form of vegetation is
used on the three most widely consumed crops in America: corn,
soy and yes, tobacco!

Rotterdam Study, which followed about 4,800 individuals for a
10-year period, showed that individuals who consume the most
dietary vitamin K2 experience 50 percent less arterial
calcification and cardiovascular death.
Google announces privacy changes across products; users can’t

Washington post - Google will soon know far more about who you
are and what you do on the Web. The Web giant announced Tuesday
that it plans to follow the activities of users across nearly
all of its ubiquitous sites, including YouTube, Gmail and its
leading search engine. Google has already been collecting some
of this information. But for the first time, it is combining
data across its Web sites to stitch together a fuller portrait
of users. Consumers won’t be able to opt out of the changes,
which take effect March 1. And experts say the policy shift will
invite greater scrutiny from federal regulators of the company’s
privacy and competitive practices.

Mail Online - he Internet is becoming our main source of memory
instead of our own brains, a study has concluded. In the age of
Google, our minds are adapting so that we are experts at knowing
where to find information even though we don’t recall what it

is automatically non-toxic because every other plant also has
DNA. Case closed.
