Professor exposes hidden death penalty clause in treaty

I am writing from India where a recent disclosure regarding the reintroduction of the death penalty for rioters on ratification of the Lisbon Treaty is receiving much debate.

Despite the British Press seemingly pro referendum stance they have failed to report on this very important disclosure. The exposure of this hidden Death Penalty clause could have made a big difference in last weeks commons vote.

An email I have received from a UK labour MP leads me to believe the majority of MP’s are also in the dark over this issue.

On 20th Feb 2008 a caucus meeting was held at the German Parliament in Munich to discuss the Lisbon Treaty.

At this meeting a previously unmentioned paragraph was bought to light by Professor Schachtschneider, Humanities Faulty -University of Nuremberg.

Professor Schachtschneider, explained that the undisclosed paragraph means on ratification of the Lisbon Treaty the DEATH PENALTY will be reintroduced to Europe. The Death Penalty will be applicable for the crimes of RIOTING, CIVIL UPHEAVAL and DURING WAR. (When are we not at war and who will define riot and upheaval?)

Professor Schachtschneider made the point that this clause is particularly outrageous as it had been cleverly hidden in a footnote of a footnote and would not have been detected by anyone other than an exceptional expert reader.

It is obvious that this hidden footnote is intended to destroy any future chance for people to stand up against abuse maltreatment or exploitation by government and those in authority. This is immediately significant when one considers the anti war demonstrations that will take place all over Europe if Iran is attacked.

European leaders have done a fantastic job of keeping these immense changes to all member states constitutions out of the press.

The people of Ireland will not receive this information in their EU information packs, that’s if they ever do indeed receive any information at all. The CER are complaining that the national broadcaster, RTÉ, will be obliged by law to give equal weight to both sides of the argument throughout the campaign. Thank god that they do. Rightly or wrongly mainstream media hold massive sway when it comes to voting. Murdoch once bragged that it was up to him and him alone who became the next British PM. He was probably correct.

The fate of millions or ordinary Europeans is now in the hands of the Irish people, it is only right that when they place their vote they do so with knowledge of the FULL content.
Tony Blair sold the UK for the promise of being the main contender for the EU presidency. The people of Ireland realize this and most normal Europeans believe the Irish will not vote their vote away into the hands of this lying warmonger or his ilk.
